About Me
Randi is a dedicated professional and academician with a diverse background in informatics and educational technology. Currently, he is a full-time Lecturer in Informatics at the Department of Electronics Engineering, Universitas Negeri Padang, Indonesia, and an affiliated Tutor for Educational Technology at Universitas Terbuka, Indonesia. From 2024 to 2025, he served as a Visiting Research Fellow at the Department of Computer Science, Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), Norway. His interests span various areas, including programming education, human-centered computing, educational technology, and social informatics.
Randi holds a graduate degree from the Graduate Institute of Network Learning Technology at National Central University, Taiwan. He is a member of the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM), where he is affiliated with SIGCHI and SIGCSE.
Randi is an Editorial Board Member of the SAGE Journal of Educational Technology Systems and has actively served as a program committee member and reviewer for leading conferences, including ACM IDC, ACM DIS, ACM CSCW, ACM SIGITE, ACM SIGCSE, and ACM EICS. He has also reviewed for numerous Scopus-indexed journals published by Springer, SAGE, Taylor & Francis, and Frontiers.

Specifically in the intersection of metacognition, green coding, and sustainability.
Human-centred computing
Specifically within the context of human-computer interaction, this includes psychological or emotional aspects, user interface design, and user experience.
Educational Technology
Specifically related to technology-enhanced learning in writing and problem/project-based learning for computational thinking
Social Informatics
Specifically in the context of digital transformation for social good, and green digital skills
